TestDaF (B2.1/B2.2/C1.1/C1.2)
What should you be able to demonstrate for the TestDaF?
The TestDaF verifies whether you can linguistically act at a high level successfully and whether your language skills are sufficient to start your studies in Germany. You show that you can successfully master typical communicative tasks which you encounter at a German university. No prior specialist or specific knowledge is required. However, you should show interest in general knowledge, socio-political issues and current discussions in Europe as well university-related topics.
How is the exam structured?
The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 1 hour and 55 minutes. You will have some preparation time before the oral exam takes place.
