Then come to Dialoge in Lindau on Lake Constance. With us, the language experience doesn’t end with the language course. We combine learning a language with a job. We offer you the ideal opportunity to learn German and then immediately apply it in your everyday work and gain your first work experience in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Every morning you will participate in the standard German class corresponding to your language level with an average size of eight students. In addition to the basic skills of reading, listening, writing and speaking, our interactive, communicative and modern way to teach also has a focus on grammar and vocabulary. Of course, you can upgrade yourself to a intensive German class or a premium German class in order to move faster – just talk to us. But a standard class will work as well.

Up to three interviews will be arranged during the language course. (Preparation for the interviews and travel costs to the interview are included in the price.)

If you are successfully placed and reach a B1 language level, you will then start your 4- to 6-month seasonal job. This usually takes place on Lake Constance, in the Allgäu, Vorarlberg, Bregenz Forest or in the Alps. It’s always an area where other people go on vacation.

We primarily have tourist positions in mind: service or kitchen in the catering industry or restaurant, reception in the hotel industry, leisure care for adults and/or children and guest care in general. Since we are well networked in the region, there are also opportunities in other areas – just talk to us about them.

The special feature: in both Germany and Austria there is a minimum wage – even for unskilled workers – i.e. the earnings (in 2024) are at least 12.41 euros per hour.
